Processed food as one that has undergone any changes to its natural state. Raw agriculture products undergo  washing, cleaning, milling, cutting, chopping, heating, pasteurizing, blanching, cooking, canning, freezing, drying, dehydrating, mixing, packaging, or other procedures that alter the food from its natural  state. The food may include the addition of other ingredients such as preservatives, flavors, nutrients and other food additives or substances approved for use in food products, such as salt, sugars, and fats.

Additional processing like  storing, filtering, fermenting, extracting, concentrating, microwaving, and packaging. Food begins to deteriorate and lose nutrients as soon as it is harvested and processed before being sold to the consumer. Healthy eating habits are vital for maintaining good health and preventing chronic diseases.

Nowadays, many people are often too busy to pay attention to what they eat, and they may rely on convenient, processed foods that are high in calories and low in nutrients  leading  to a variety of health problems such as obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease.
