By lowering these barriers and making the access to the financial freedom and less intimidating, Wildlife Conservation Initiative (WCI) set in cooperation with local community made different savings groups to encourage and create a saving culture in the community to alleviate poverty and fight against stunting while acting on the effects of climate change. 

Local community saving groups remove barriers of lack of the access to formal financial inclusion still exist in Rwanda.  In particular, poor people’s lack of awareness or understanding of how financial products can improve their lives as well as their lack of collateral poses major challenges reason why local saving groups by focus on savings, loans access to its members and access to finance help to acquire social economic development among local community.
