At Wildlife Conservation Initiative (WCI), we are proud to support Women Wildlife Clubs. These dedicated women are actively engaged in creating compost pits, establishing green gardens, and participating in regular savings programs. Their commitment extends to arts and crafts, where they transform local resources into beautiful and sustainable products. Through these activities, the women of Kanama Village, Nyarubuye cell, Rwaza Sector at Musanze district are not only contributing to environmental conservation but also empowering themselves economically and socially.
In addition, Youth Wildlife Club at the local primary school, along with students from nearby universities, are playing a vital role in our conservation efforts. These young conservationists are engaged in research, participating in nature conservation debates, and planting fruit trees both at home and in their schools.
Wildlife
clubs enthusiasm and dedication to these activities help instill a strong
environmental ethic, ensuring that the next generation is well-equipped to
continue the important work of protecting and preserving our natural world.
Through
these combined efforts, WCI is fostering a community-driven approach to
wildlife conservation that empowers individuals of all ages to make a
meaningful impact.
